  parked the rv sideways to the lake so couldn't ask for a more beautiful view. Peaceful and relaxing. Had along 2 parrots a small dog and a small monkey who all got to explore right around camp. the monkey had the most fun both exploring the waters edge and the nice trees right in camp. The camp was really clean altho I did pick up an ant bait and put it in the garbage so the monkey wouldn't get it. but it must have worked--no ants It's only day one of a 3 or 4 day stay but so far we LOVE it. So far I haven't met the owners or hosts but really hope they'll stop by tomorrow for a chat lot #8.

  Great little log cabins that I have now enjoyed the two times I have stayed here. They are right on the lake and you have your own little dock.

  My family has been going here for years. The lake and surrounding area are beautiful. Amenities at the campground are comfortable and affordable. What was disturbing this time was the rowdies at the campsite closest to the main office. This group was loud both conversationally and musically. My family and I understand that a chance to get together with friends and family warrants celebration but when one party's celebration extends to 3am in what is described as a family campground I think that the boundaries have been stretched. The person that appeared to be patrolling the campground was a part of this group and was bombing around the campground at 4am awakening campers. Much more supervision is necessary at this campsite to make it a very positive experience.

  We have been staying here for over a decade all 4 seasons because of family in the area. The owners Steve and Joe are always friendly and very accommodating. Whether we are staying in a cabin or staying in a camping spot we have never had an unpleasant experience. Highly recommend staying here.
